Dr. Charmi Shiyarwala's passion for eye care began with her first pair of glasses as a child, further fueled by her experience as an optometric technician during college. She graduated with honors from the Michigan College of Optometry in 2013 and completed externships at Kresge Eye Institute, John Dingell VA, and Balian Eye Care. With a decade of experience in primary eye care across Illinois and Northwest Indiana, she has developed a keen focus on ocular diseases like glaucoma and macular degeneration, as well as specialty contact lens fitting and pediatric care.
Dr. Shiyarwala is dedicated to providing comprehensive care and managing complex eye conditions with a compassionate approach. Her goal is to offer personalized treatment and build strong relationships with her patients.
Outside of her professional life, Dr. Shiyarwala loves spending time with family and friends, exploring new travel destinations, experimenting with recipes in the kitchen, and curling up with a good book and a hot cup of coffee.
